Abstract: House amplifiers

A number of models which are different in working frequency range, supply types, input signal level and reverse channel availability are components of the product line.

AH-300/R30 and AH-300/R65 are full-band amplifiers with a passive or active reverse channel. Depending on the model the reverse channel width amounts to 5-30MHz or 5-65MHz and the direct channel width amounts to 47-862MHz or 84-862MHz respectively. The output amplifier cascade constructed according to the Push-Pull scheme provides the maximum output level of 117dB/µV according to DIN 45004. They have an amplification of 30dB, amplitude-frequency characteristic unevenness in -30...+50oС temperatures does not exceed +/-0,5dB. Amplifier input and output SWR does not exceed 2. The amplifiers are equipped with a variable equalizer with a 0-18dB depth of the slope control and with the attenuator with a continuous adjustment of attenuations within 0-20 dB limits.

These amplifiers are energized from a 220V ac network and have modifications which enable amplifier cascading in long-distance transmission circuits which provide precise frequency-dependent loss compensation of signals in cables (in this case the letter C is added to the amplifier designation).

Amplifiers AH-200, AH-200/R30 (with a reverse channel) are suggested for VHF.

All the listed amplifiers have the same embodiment. Their shell consists of two enclosures: screened and protective enclosure. All the outlets are equipped with F-connectors. The shell dimensions are 180x120x55mm. The amplifiers are equipped with a -26dB attenuation control bonding point and two protective devices set in the power circuit.

The amplifiers AH-310/R30 (D) and AH-310/R65 (D) have the same features in comparison to the AH-300 but they are constructed in a hermetic molded case made from aluminium alloy with a design protection index IP65. There are different amplifier modifications: amplifies with a local and remote supply.

The amplifier AH-360 product line ranks between house amplifiers and much more expensive base amplifiers in amplifier family. These are full-band amplifiers with a raised dynamic range. The maximum signal level on a 850 MHz frequency amounts to 119 dB/µV according to DIN 45004. Their amplification amounts to 35 dB, amplitude frequency characteristic unevenness in -30...+50oС temperatures amounts to +/-0,7dB. The amplifiers are equipped with a variable equalizer with the slope tuning depth of 0-18 dB and an attenuator with an attenuation fine adjustment within the limits of 0-20 dB. Reverse channel strip may amount to 5-30 MHz or 5-65 MHz. Its lower limit may be removed to the marker of 12 MHz as a variant. It enables limiting the crosstalk level in the reverse channel that is especially strong at the range bottom. The amplifiers have modifications with a 220 V ac network energizing and a remote supply from a 24-65V dc and ac voltage source.

The amplifiers AHS-310/R30(D) and AHS-310/R65(D) with a full frequency range split in VHF and UHF subranges are suggested for the cable networks using TV program packages in VHF and UHF. An amplitude frequency characteristic level and its slope off-line control are provided in each of the subranges.

The amplifier product line AH-360 and AHS-310 is constructed in a hermetic molded case made from aluminium alloy with a design protection index IP63.

The full-band amplifier AH-100/R30 (AH-100/R65) with a 5-30 MHz or 5-65 MHz reverse channel differentiates from the latter in a lower dynamic range. Its maximum output level amounts to 113dB/µV. Besides it has no test output and its dimensions amount to 180x65x50mm.

Full-band subscriber receivers АН-102 and АН-101 without any reverse channel are produced specially for distribution. The first one is energized from a 220 V network and the second one is energized distantly from a 12V source via an adapter. Their maximum output level amounts to 110dB/µV according to DIN 45004 and the amplification amounts to 20dB. They are equipped with a standard attenuator with an 0-20dB attenuation range. It is supposed that input signals should have already been aligned according to the level. That is why the amplifiers have no equalizer.

ARM amplifiers with a 20 dB reverse channel amplification are suggested for the cable networks starting the usage of a reverse channel. Forward direction signals pass through an amplifier with the maximum attenuation of 1dB without changing. A built-in attenuator provides the attenuation within 0-20dB.
