     The input part of the multiplexer contains four identical DVB ASI(C) receiving interfaces. This interface shapes byte synchronization impulses, effects a 10V/8V decoding and accepted series code transformation into a parallel code.
     Received packets of a transport stream arrive to the multiplexer which effects analysis, exchange of packet PID of input streams. As far as transport streams are set from different sources to multiplexer inputs there may be an identifier conflict (different packets can have the same PID). Each stream passes through a filter and PID exchange unit to avoid this situation. Packets only of those programmes pass to the output of the unit which are selected by a customer, new identifiers are assigned to these packets. PIDs can be set both automatically and manually by a customer with the help of a DVB Manger application.
     A control module sets an operation mode of the multiplexer and shapes output PSI tables which are transmitted into the key. The key effects switching of new tables into an output stream. The shaped stream arrives to a transmitting interface DVB ASI(С) after the key. This interface effects transformation of a parallel code into a series code and an 8V/10V coding.
     The multiplexer does not have control elements, control is effected via an interface RS-485 of a computer with the help of a DVB Manager application.
