LFM-500M All-Purpose meter

Beta TV com Ltd. started manufacturing of an all-purpose measuring device LFM-500M which can include all the functions developed for the time being. A customer defines a set of necessary functions by himself and places an order. The price of the device includes a common core set price which comprises a device case, an LCD indicator with a luminance, a microprocessor unit, a power supply device with a charger, an accumulator battery and the price of all the options included in the device. 1. Measuring Device of TV Range Signal Level
The measuring device is adapted to application in cable TV networks. The device enables adjustment of a cable network both in forward channel and in reverse channel, building a histogram of cable network levels, measuring signal-to-noise ratio, saving up to 50 histograms and spectrograms in permanent memory with a further information transmission to a computer via the interface RS-232.

2. Satellite Range Spectrograph
It enables effecting installation and adjustment of single and community over-the-air satellite TV systems, momentary signal registration, signal-to-noise ratio measuring and digital signal power measuring of a radio Ethernet (IEEE802.11) type, DECT, MMDS signals, saving up to 50 spectrograms in permanent memory with a further information transmission to a computer via the interface RS-232.

3. Amplitude Frequency Measuring Device and HF Synthesizer
The amplitude frequency measuring device enables a module measuring of active and passive circuit transmission constant in a 5-6000MHz range. If such a frequency tuning range is not needed it can be lowered up to 5-1000MHz/5-4000MHz. All the other features remain the same but the option price becomes lower.
The HF synthesizer is intended for generation of a high-frequency harmonic wave (with the same frequency step range) with a small frequency step range, low phase noises and a high accuracy of an output level setting.

8. Test Generator
The test generator generates a composite video signal in a PAL system and is intended for tuning and quality estimation of colour and black-white TV receivers. It enables generation of the following test pictures: a blue field, a green field, a red field, a white field, black burst, vertical colour bars, horizontal colour bars, check pattern, etc.

9. BER and SNR Indication in the DVB-S Standard
Bit error ratio is calculated as a ratio of bit error quantity to the total bit quantity during a definite time. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is defined as a ratio of an rf signal average power to a current noise power in a channel. Measuring range is 10-2...10-8 . Modulation kind: QPSK.

10. BER and SNR Indication in the DVB-C Standard
Bit error ratio is calculated as a ratio of bit error quantity to the total bit quantity during a definite time. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is defined as a ratio of an rf signal average power to a current noise power in a channel. Measuring range is 10-2...10-8 . Modulation kind: QAM4, QAM16, QAM32, QAM64, QAM128, QAM256.

11. Signal-to-Noise Ratio Digital Measuring Device
The signal-to-noise ratio digital measuring device is intended to measure automatically the ratio of an audio signal swing to a noise effecive value within the interval of a frame blanking pulse during broadcasting. The signal-to-noise ratio is calculated relatively to a video signal swing between white and black level.
There is an overlay possibility of a line synchronization signal of a video signal on a displayed image of a TV program in the SNR measuring mode. It enables subjectiv estimating of a channel noise pollution.

12. Colour TFT-Indicator

It enables to control quality of received TV channels in a PAL system (with the option of TV signal level measuring device), of satellite analog programms (with the option of a satellite analog receiver). It enables displaying an image of a line synchronization signal of a video signal, using as a display, setting external AUDIO and VIDEO signals.
