Medium-speed digital radio-relay stations of Contact series

The description of medium-speed digital radio relay station Contact on the example of DRRS "Contact-11.2M16ETH" (medium-speed DRRS are produced for frequency range 7...20 GHz) is given below.

"Contact-11.2M16ETH" works in the frequency range 10,7...11,7 GHz and is intended for organizing of one radio group of single- and moltispan lines with the bandwidth up to 34Mbps for telephony, Internet and other applications.


DRRS has flexible configuration and permits to transmit:
* Up to 16 E1 streams (in 2048Kbps each)
* Ethernet channel from 1,5 to 32Mbps depending on the number of unused E1 streams (resources of any unused E1 stream -   2048Kbps - automatically transfer to Ethernet channel);
* Telemetry and telesignaling channel;
* Additional channel of data transfer RS-232;
* Voice communication channel;
* Signaling sensor channel and executive device.

Additionally DRRS has:
* Two identical channels with unbreakage automatic change-over which is equally to reception reservation system;
* Two identical microwave frequency transfer channels permitted to use redundancy 1+1;
* It is permitted to use modems with two microwave frequency converters blocks (extended configuration) for receiving of diversed   reception(at large signal fading in air);
* With the help of service program it allows remote monitoring and control of all stations multispan radiorelay system through telemetry   and remote signaling.
* RRL powering ~ 140...260V (AC voltage) with the ability to connect back-up voltage 24...60V (DC voltage).
